Privacy Policy — TV Time Data Extractor

Last updated: 22 June 2026

TV Time Data Extractor (“the extension”) is a browser tool that lets you export your own TV Time data to a CSV file on your computer. This policy explains what it does and doesn’t do with your information.

Summary

The extension runs entirely in your browser. It does not send your data to us or to any third-party server, it does not store your data, and it does not track you. There are no analytics and no accounts.

What the extension accesses

When you click Export to CSV while signed in to tvtime.com, the extension:

  1. Reads your signed-in TV Time session token from the TV Time page so it can request your data on your behalf.
  2. Calls TV Time’s own endpoints (the same ones the TV Time website uses) to retrieve your watched shows, episodes and movies.
  3. Converts that data into a CSV file in memory.
  4. Triggers a download of that CSV to your device.

That is the full extent of its data handling.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no backend server. Your TV Time data and session token are used only locally, in your browser, for the duration of the export. None of it is transmitted to the developer or any other party, and none of it is retained by the extension after the export finishes.

Permissions and why they are needed

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data. We never receive it in the first place.

Third parties

The extension communicates only with TV Time’s servers, using your own session, to retrieve your data. It is an unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TV Time or its owners. “TV Time” is a trademark of its respective owner.

Your control

The extension only does anything when you click Export to CSV. You can remove it at any time from chrome://extensions, which ends all access immediately.
